In 2024, Alberton Cricket Club proudly introduced its first-ever women's team, marking a significant milestone in the club’s history. Women of all ages are welcome to join and become part of this exciting new chapter. The women’s team trains every Tuesday and Thursday from 5 pm to 7 pm, offering dedicated practice sessions to develop skills and team spirit. As women’s cricket continues to grow in popularity and gain recognition, Alberton Cricket Club is thrilled to have its inaugural ladies team competing in the Women’s Premier League, showcasing their talent and determination.

The club currently boasts with international players, Paul Collingwood - England International Player, Andrew Hall - South Africa International Player and Vaughan v Jaarsveld - South African International Player.
