Vets cricket caters for those over the age of 40 years old and would still love to play competetive cricket.

Veterans Cricket

You're never too old to play cricket, and the Alberton Cricket Club proved that in 2024 with two veterans' teams competing in the Easterns Storm League. The Alberton Royals, made up of players aged 40 and above, finished 6th, while the Alberton Legends came in 11th. The vets league showcases the enduring passion and skill of men over 40, proving that age is no barrier to enjoying the game and competing at a high level.

VETS REGISTRATION

Only players who have been specifically notified by their respective captains are required to register for the 2025 Vets season. This selective registration process ensures that only those who have been chosen to participate are included in the season's roster. Players who have not received notification from their captain should refrain from registering, as their participation may not be required or confirmed for the upcoming season. It is important for all players to adhere to these instructions to streamline the registration process and ensure the team rosters are accurate and up to date.

With a wealth of experience and skill among our seasoned cricketers, we believe this season promises to be a great one. As we move forward, please note that a R500 registration fee will be required. This fee will not only give you access to our top-notch facilities, but also include a range of additional benefits to enhance your experience throughout the season. We look forward to another successful and enjoyable season together!

R500 membership fee will cover:

Payment to the Easterns Veterans Association for each registered player. (Easterns Registration fee only)
Access to the Alberton Cricket Club’s facilities:
Turf nets
Astro nets
Night facilities
